The Rain is a Pain

The rain finally abated this weekend. It was still cloudy and chilly, but we'll take what we can get.

We climbed over to Treasure Cove at low tide.

I found the most awesome piece of blue seaglass. Later Ian found a stick and as we all predicted asked if he could keep it.

A new find at the La Brea tar pits has been in the news lately. They say they've found a snake that was 45 feet long and weighed thousands of pounds, dwarfing an anaconda. We figured we go check it out.

We didn't see anything of the snake. But we saw a methane bubble.

And Ian got some Geodes.

Since we were just down the street, we'd figured we'd visit Hollywood Boulevard.

Something was up. What could it have been?

We walked all over, but we couldn't get close and most of my pictures stank. Morgen was pissed. As soon as we got home she looked up how to get tickets for the red carpet bleachers. Next year.
