Chicago

I just spent the last few days in Chicago working the booth at AHR Expo. It's the largest HVAC/Industrial/Automation show in the US.

Take-aways:

  1. Chicago is the most beautiful city I've ever visited.
  2. All of the cab drivers *really* love ex-mayor Daley. They all brought it up after I made a comment about how beautiful the city was.
  3. Deep dish pizza isn't all that. We went to Pizzeria Due (one block from Pizzeria Uno and commonly owned). We didn't got to Gino's East because it's supposed to be a tourist trap, but apparently their crust is made of corn bread. So now I'm infinitely curious about Gino's East. Next trip.
  4. I miss snow.
