Anyway, she had an off-meet. She won first place on beam, but not much else.
The girls are a little burnt out at her gym.
We hung around to watch the Elite competition. Now we understand why Morgen's coaches have been all stressed out. Marta Karolyi and Valeri Luikin were there, as well as most of the best coaches and gymnasts in the nation. So was Alicia Sacramone, Morgen's idol. It was one of two qualifiers for the National Elite competition.
It was inspiring to see so many people who have achieved the very top of an extremely difficult profession. The skills we saw were what you watch at the Olympics. Beverley and I didn't want to leave, but the kids dragged us out.
