Today there was a segment on the local indie rock station about the The Harvey Family. Bryan was a well known musician and they still grieve for him way out here.
We didn't know them personally. Years before Katheryn was often our waiter at the Texas Wisconsin Border Cafe, and more recently we went to her very cool toy store at least once a week. Their daughter, Stella, was in Morgen's third grade class. Luckily we had pulled her from school a couple months prior. But we still had to tell Morgen that a friend had been murdered and I don't think we'll ever forget that.
